KATHRYN (KAY) MCWATTY, 81, FORMERLY OF LENORE
     
SEATTLE - Kathryn (Kay) McWatty, a former Lenore, Idaho, resident, died of causes related to age Saturday at her Seattle home. She was 81.
     She was born April 11, 1911, near Lenore to William and Jennie Bertie Brown. She was raised in the Lenore area and married Robert J. McWatty May 14, 1939, at Seattle.
     The couple has resided for more than 42 years in west Seattle, where she was employed as a saleswoman by the J.C. Penney Co. She later worked for the White Center Liquor Store at Seattle before retiring.
     She was a longtime member of the White Center Eagles Ladies Auxiliary No. 2568 and enjoyed dancing and visiting with friends and family members.
     Survivors include her husband of Seattle, and four sisters, Eunice Mathews and Opal Goin, both of Port Angeles, Wash., Myrtle Powell of Lenore and Anna Bloom of Lewiston.
     A sister, Mayme Nurmi, two brothers, Gifford and Raleigh Brown, and a son, Thomas William James, died previously.
     Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Seattle.
     The family suggests memorials be sent to the White Center Eagles Ladies Auxiliary Family Fund.
